Digital Marketing Specialist

EnergySage is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Acquisition Marketing, you will be responsible for launching, managing, and optimizing Paid Search, Paid Social, and/or Display campaigns alongside an external agency to drive cost-efficient lead volume. You will also manage and grow EnergySage's Affiliate Marketing program. The ideal candidate will possess a deep background in performance marketing and a strong understanding of affiliate marketing programs.

Through the EnergySage Marketplace, our mission is to help consumers shop for and transition to clean energy and energy-saving technologies like solar energy, heat pumps, and electric vehicles for their homes and beyond.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute performance-focused paid media strategies across SEM, paid social, and display to efficiently drive new leads for EnergySage.
  • Manage campaigns in platform, conduct tests, analyze performance, allocate budget, and make data-driven decisions to scale campaigns that hit our ROI targets.
  • Lead the development of high-performing ad creative by analyzing the performance of in-market creative, writing briefs, and partnering with designers to produce new ad concepts and iterations.
  • Collaborate with external agency resources to manage and optimize paid media campaigns.
  • Manage and grow EnergySage's affiliate marketing program, establishing strong relationships with partners and affiliates.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product and Creative teams to drive landing page testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Digital Marketing trends and industry best practices to incorporate them into our overall strategy.
  • Learn the solar and renewable energy industry to understand the customer journey and tailor campaigns effectively.

What We Look For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in performance marketing, with a focus in performance-focused paid digital media.
  • Proficiency executing in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads platforms. In-depth knowledge of paid advertising platform auctions and current best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience managing affiliate programs is highly desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with design teams to produce ad creative on a consistent cadence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present campaign performance in a clear and concise manner.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for staying ahead of the curve in performance marketing trends and industry developments.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
