Accountant

Small Northport NY Accounting Firm servicing small to mid-size companies with all phases of accounting and tax preparation for over 35 years is seeking an Accountant with at least 5 years experience who is extremely focused, detail oriented, highly organized and a self-starter with minimal supervision.

1. Write-ups with working knowledge of Sage and QuickBooks accounting software

2. Preparation of payroll calculations and payroll tax returns

3. Preparation and filing of Sales Tax Returns

4. Heavy client contact via correspondence and in person

5. Client remote login

Prior Public Accounting Firm experience a MUST and knowledge of Ultra Tax a plus.
