Role: Digital Marketing Intern
As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and expertise in creating content for and implementing email campaigns in Salesforce, our CRM marketing technology tool. In addition, to implementing and launching several new campaigns, you will pull reports, review data, and recommend optimizations based on insights from the platform. As bandwidth allows, you may have the opportunity to also support our social team, working on brand channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) with ad hoc campaign production. The ideal candidate is interested in pursuing a career in Digital Marketing as knows the tastytrade social media channels well and is excited to understand the marketing technology required to deliver effective campaigns.
Who you are:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Systems, or similar fields.
• Relevant coursework includes Digital Marketing Strategies, Social Media Marketing, and SEO Optimization.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills, demonstrated through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Participated in team meetings, contributing creative ideas and strategies for integrated marketing campaigns.
• A proactive learner with a commitment to staying updated on the latest industry trends and tools.
• Adapted quickly to changing project priorities and demonstrated flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement customer communications and CRM initiatives that support business objectives and drive customer engagement and retention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns across, but not limited to, owned channels (email, push notifications, SMS, in app messaging, website) .
• Monitor and analyze CRM performance metrics, make data-driven decisions , and conduct A/B tests to optimize campaigns and improve results .
• Manage email marketing and CRM technology platforms, including set-up, maintenance, and integration with other marketing tools .
• Understand the legal requirements related to CRM and ensure compliance with applicable regulations .
• Work with the Social Media content creation team to craft and execute compelling vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.

• Monitor results of social media content on key platforms and provide analysis of findings.
• Learn brand standards and ensure video content aligns with the organization's goals and mission.

Location: We have a great new office in the West Loop of Chicago and are currently working hybrid at a minimum of 3 days in the office.
