Job Duty Summary

Provide assistance in the production of various video programs for YouTube and the Mount Prospect Government Access Channel. The position reports directly to the Director of Communications and other staff members.

Essential Job Functions

· Producing programs of various lengths to be determined in conjunction with the Director of Communications.

· Scripting, editing and production of short video programs to be displayed on the Mount Prospect YouTube Channel.

· Working with the Director of Communications and the Video Media Specialist in completing various projects as assigned.

· General office duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications - Experience and Knowledge

· Knowledgeable in studio and remote shooting

· Basic knowledge of non-linear editing

· Ability to work independently.

· Ability to work with all levels of business and public contacts in a professional manner

Education and Training

· Full-time student registered in a broadcast arts program.

· Student is responsible for securing all forms from their school in order to receive credit towards graduation

Hours

Working hours are a minimum of 20 to 25 hours per week. The schedule is subject to change at Management’s discretion.
