Job Description
The responsibilities of this position revolve around capturing and communicating PGA’s brand and mission both internally and externally through various outlets including social media, the firm website, internal newsletter, video, as well as coordination with industry and business publications. This individual should be social by nature and enjoy staying in touch with staff across the firm to highlight project work and other professional and personal accomplishments, providing recognition on behalf of PGA and leveraging publicly, as appropriate.
What You’ll Do- Assist in monitoring all PGA social media channels (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Assist in coordinating and creating timely and engaging content, optimized for target audiences across all digital platforms that aligns with the annual social media plan
- Remain current and knowledgeable on digital trends
- Assist with curating, and monitoring firm website
- Organize photos of PGA projects to help maintain project portfolio
- Maintain and organize PGA’s photo archives including projects, events, and headshots
- Assist with coordination and production of monthly newsletter
- Support company recruiting efforts
- Promote internal and external PGA programs
- Support PGA’s Recruitment goals
- Participate in required training, and pursue professional development opportunities independently
- Support Marketing’s various departments
- Support development of PR campaigns for digital release
- Bachelor's degree, majoring in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related-field
- Post-graduation experience of 0-3 years
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and other Office products
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign and Photoshop, Illustrator preferred)
- Familiarity with website maintenance through WordPress and Google Analytics
- Demonstrated experience managing company accounts of various social media platforms via a social media management platform
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of the required education
- Excellent grammar and creative writing skills
- Good verbal communications skills and ability to interact with a variety of clients
- Knowledge of and passion for technology and social media in a business and strategic context
- Proficient in business writing, proofreading, document formatting
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
- Prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines at the direction of PGA’s Marketing Director and other team members
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining high standards
