Title:Digital Asset Coordinator- Senior 
Division:Arthrex, Inc. (US01) 
Location:Naples, FL.

 

 

 

 

Main Objective:

To support all who need access to Arthrex assets, regardless of format. To answer all questions, facilitate all requests and to support all initiatives when called upon to do so. To develop, improve and maintain processes and standards related to Digital Asset Management, Archives Management, and all other areas of focus and to act as a source of information for those who need to learn about them.

 

Essential Duties and Responsiblities:

Subject Matter Expertise

•            Work with all Arthrex regions to support their unique asset needs.

•            Participate in team projects and initiatives.

Reference Librarianship

•            Complete requests assigned within expected service level agreements.

•            Educate, train, and promote the use of the Digital Asset management (DAM) system

•            Notify stakeholders of distributed content or changes to content status (active, inactive, etc.)

Cataloguing and Data Management

•            Assign appropriate metadata to international assets in all applicable systems (DAM, CMS, MAM, etc.)

•            Work with IT and support to ensure the successful ingesting and downloading of Digital Assets in supported systems.

•            Follow all standards and protocols related to asset security, metadata management, etc.  and assist with documenting processes and procedures

 

Knowledge/Skills:

•            Communication skills, particularly spelling and vocabulary. Verbal skills, including in-person and telephone.

General

•            Ability to work on tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

•            Ability to work independently and work effectively in a team atmosphere when required.

•            Organization, priority-balancing, and time management skills

•            Research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

•            Adapts well to changes of priority and focus.

Technical

•            Knowledge of digital file formats

•            Experience with Microsoft products, including Microsoft Office.

•            Familiarity with Digital Asset Management Systems

•            Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

•            Familiarity with Content Management Systems a plus

•            Familiarity Marketing Resource Management Systems or project management systems a plus.                         

•            Familiarity with coding languages such as JSON, HTML, CSS, etc. a plus

 

Discretion/Latitude:

Works under general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

 

Education:

Bachelors degree required

Graduate course work in library & information science or related discipline preferred

 

Experience:

2 years of related experience

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to customers, other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
