MAGX has an opening for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team. We are a 20+ years strong advertising firm headquartered in Newton, New Jersey that works with publishers of national B2B magazines and websites.
About the job: The Digital Marketing Assistant reports directly to the Digital Production Manager. Responsibilities include managing job tickets using our cloud-based ad management system; trafficking ad materials and communicating with advertisers; uploading and scheduling ad materials into the ad server or web CMS; producing and editing HTML emails and email newsletters; managing ad campaigns and promotion on social media and ad networks, copy writing and editing (AP Style); and assisting with the set-up and promotion of webinars.
About you: You are reliable and highly organized, have excellent written communication skills and are able to work independently. You are comfortable handling multiple tasks while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as part of a creative and talented team that takes pride in their work. Previous experience in marketing and copywriting are a plus along with the ability to think outside the box and independently solve problems.
Qualifications: Working knowledge of marketing basics and HTML. Excellent written communication skills and familiar with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets. It’s a plus if you’re also familiar with Google Workspace, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Mailchimp / Email Marketing, Remarketing, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and Zapier or similar automation tools. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with: Google, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Instagram ads.
