As an Associate Manager , Industrial Hygiene and Digital EHS Systems, the responsibilities include areas of data management and data quality. This includes knowledge and understanding of data and systems requirements, local regulations for IH and EHS Standards Management.

 

Scope of responsibility:

Development of Systems & Processes

  • Gather, organize, and provide historical safety rates using Analytics | Tableau module in Benchmark ESG | Gensuite to prepare internal and external reports.
  • Partner w/division leaders and audit program leader to define visualizations/dashboard views
  • Configure and implement new Benchmark modules when appropriate. 
  • Ensure revised or new EHS standards are updated as necessary to align with standard rules and requirements, prior to individual launches
  • Partner w/division leaders and audit program leader to define additional visualizations/dashboard views
  • Manage Sphera data system for sustainability metrics, coordinate 3rd party data integrity review w/Company vendor

 

 

Industrial Hygiene & Safety Data/Processes 

  • Lead IH program.
  • Work with IH Global Vendor and sites to have actions in Benchmark's Action Tracking System (ATS) and updated or completed as applicable.
  • Review IH reports to ensure consistency w/Company requirements
  • Work w/IH provider to identify controls where elevated exposures are identified
  • Summarize IH data to generate dashboard visualizations of exposure risks
  • Manage IH Global Vendor communications and ensure conformance with overall process and timeliness expectations of our MSA (Master Services Agreement)
  • Provide IH/Safety data analytics/computations (e.g. SIF/Safety Performance Reporting, ORC Reporting, IH KPIs, etc.).

 

Maintain, Support, & Enhance Systems:

  • Maintain AODocs libraries (President’s Award for Safety Achievement & Industrial Hygiene).
  • Continue to maintain, support, enhance previously launched Benchmark ESG modules (i.e., Action Tracking System, Industrial Hygiene, Compliance Calendar, Reg Auditor, Incidents & Measurements, etc.) and associated processes on an on-going basis.
  • Support the CBS team and EHS Benchmark users.
  • Create and develop data analytics/reports (e.g., Tableau) to support multiple processes related to live Benchmark modules
  • Maintain Corp. EHS Website - add/delete content, refresh as needed w/GIT’s input and direction
  • Maintain schedule for updating EHS Standards.  Facilitate update w/appropriate SMEs

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of local regulatory frameworks
  • Proficient in Spreadsheets, Dashboards, Presentations and Communication and Training

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with software platforms like Gensuite, Sphera, Tableau and IH
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
  • Teamwork orientation and collaboration


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
