The Opportunity
Mass General Brigham Digital is seeking applicants for a ten-week internship program that begins on Monday, June 3rd and runs through Friday, August 9th.
This intern will contribute to an ongoing Digital Enterprise Integration project to create automated test scripts for Epic web service API's (Application Programming Interfaces). Epic is Mass General Brigham's EHR platform.
Duties include:
- Learn to perform Epic API functional testing, by using industry standard tools such as ReadyAPI .
- Create project data files for ReadyAPI, using well documented processes and procedures.
- Learn about, and work with, different types of API formats, including SOAP and REST.
- Work with API schemas including JSON, XML and the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare.
- The intern's API projects will be implemented into MGB's automated CI/CD pipeline, using Jenkins, MySQL, and Test Engine software programs. Projects will include quality assurance testing.
- The intern may be assigned other duties depending on workload capacity.

- Interest in healthcare technology, quality assurance processes, and/or data integration
- Currently enrolled in college degree program
