Job description

Associate Governmental Program Analyst:
Under the direction of the Information Officer II, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs the more varied and complex duties of a journey-level analyst on a skilled team that plans, produces, and evaluates high quality social media and website content to successfully implement both Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) and Local Child Support Agency (LCSA) external communication objectives. The incumbent manages multiple social media platforms, promulgates analytics reports for DCSS and LCSA audiences, and performs ongoing maintenance and operations of the DCSS public website and social media channels, working collaboratively with all division information owners to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information, appropriate two-way communication options and other departmental and branch requests pertaining to social media, website and intranet as needed.
Staff Services Analyst:
Under the supervision of the Information Officer II, the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) assists in planning, producing, and evaluating high quality social media and website content to successfully implement both Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) and Local Child Support Agency (LCSA) external communication objectives. The incumbent assists with the management of multiple social media platforms, produces analytics reports for DCSS and LCSA management, assists with ongoing maintenance and operations of the DCSS public website and social media channels, working collaboratively with all division subject matter experts to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information and other departmental and branch requests pertaining to social media, website and intranet as needed.

Working Conditions
DCSS is a diverse, family-friendly organization. The headquarters office is located in Rancho Cordova convenient to Highway 50, with free parking, close to restaurants and shopping. The facility consists of standard office workspace, within a 2-story building, and may require sitting for long periods of time while using a personal computer, reviewing documents, and attending meetings. The position requires occasional travel to off-site meeting locations, conferences, or training. The work environment is fast paced and requires the incumbent to be flexible, use good time management practices, and effectively identify priorities to complete assignments timely.
Telework may be offered for this position under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California; however, changes to the telework program are at the department's discretion. Remote-centered employees may be required to report in person to Rancho Cordova headquarters and/or offsite events or locations, as determined by management, and will be required to utilize a shared workspace or "hotel" when working in the office.
