The Human Resource (HR) Development Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Human Resource Development team. This position is responsible for a wide range of administrative functions, including ordering supplies; updating budget spreadsheets; assisting with the development, review and editing of learning materials; handling information requests; planning meetings; and maintaining online training calendars and the HRD website. This position requires intermediate or advanced proficiency in the use of standard desktop applications, including the ability to produce documents, spreadsheets and presentations using MS Office applications.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree or certification in business, Human Resources or training and development highly desirable.
- Two or more years of administrative/secretarial experience.
- Experience supporting HR or training and development function preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in project management/project support. Experience must include advanced skills in MS Office (specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) and the internet with the ability and expectation to learn other types of technology, including LMS and other training systems and equipment.
