Development & Marketing Administrative Assistant

Position: Full Time, Hourly
Reports to: Director of Marketing & Development
Primary Purpose:
To assist the Director of Marketing and Development in all facets. Mainly with event planning, marketing and development strategic planning, working hand in hand with the director to implement the plan. At times being an extension of the Director where needed. To support and further the school's Episcopal identity.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Director of Development and Marketing on a daily basis
- Assisting the Director of Development and Marketing in planning and executing events throughout the year
- Providing interactive and engaging online content for followers, potential families, and prospects on our social media platforms on the following, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Studying website and social media analytics to improve various marketing campaigns
- Web producing and graphic development for online and print material
- Monthly online payment invoicing and check deposits
- Blackbaud database processing
- Videography and photography of events on campus as needed
- Student, Faculty & Staff Birthday cards
- Meeting and staying connected with our annual sponsors
- Morning drop-off and pick-up duties
- Assist with front office coverage
- Other: any and all other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Development, Head of School, or their designee

Qualifications:
- Flexible personality, able to work with diverse groups of people
- Detail-oriented and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to use judgment in dealing with sensitive or confidential information/materials
- Proficient and experienced in word processing and other computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office, G Suite, and other student management databases
- Graphic design skills preferred
- Photography and videography experience
- Social media platform experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (including speaking, listening, and taking directions)
- Strong relationship-building skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, volunteers, personnel, board members, and donors
- Availability for evenings and weekends for special events
- Proven ability to work well with other individuals and on teams
A minimum of 2 years of work experience in an administrative support role is preferred.
Associate's Degree preferred.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean background check.
