Pay Range: $20- $23/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) plan).
Requirements and Technology Experience:
- The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to our client.
- Monitor our internal ticket system and complete hardware break/fix requests.
- Provide support and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Ensure tickets are completed in accordance with the appropriate Service Level Objectives.
- Support the in-house Desktop/Logistics team with break/fix requests in warranty and out of warranty.
- Associate degree or Equivalent Experience.
- OEM hardware certification/experience with Lenovo, HP, and Dell laptops.
- Apple experience a plus
- A+/Microsoft, or other relevant technical certifications - Preferred.
- ITIL Foundations a plus.
- Strong Technical acumen on Desktop technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills as you will be onsite with the client.
- Basic understanding of information technology security principles.
- Basic understanding of ITIL / ITSM processes and procedures.
- Experience with Desktop Technologies (Laptop, PC, Desktop).
- 2-4 years' experience within the Information Technology field.
- Candidate must live near Boston, MA, 02210.
