Job Summary
We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician for a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity in Baltimore, MD to provide high-level desktop and IT support.
Qualifications
- This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of IT support and field hardware break-fix experience.
- A+ Certification or willing to obtain A+ certification within 90 days.
- OEM Certifications (Dell/Lenovo Etc.)
- Apple/Mac Experience
- Imaging from Network and USB
- Laptop/Desktop/Printer hardware and software support experience
- ServiceNOW experience
Responsibilities
- Paid Training.
- Provide exceptional, daily, On-Site Customer Service interaction with high profile client executives.
- Provide excellent time management and reporting skills
- Be familiar with various operating systems (e.g. - Windows OS, OSX, Linux/Unix)
- Manage triage, troubleshooting and resolution to client scope on IT equipment
- Occasionally works at heights of 20' to 25', lift equipment training provided
- Document efforts, issues and resolutions, close cases/tickets daily
- Insight to PC, Printers, Thin Clients, AP's, Servers, Network switch equipment, MFDs, Tablets
