About us and Why we’re hiring?
Hosaka Dental is an established dental office founded in 2009. We provide general dentistry services to families in the DMV area. We are a small office but we are all like family, working together to see our patients smile on every visit. Check out our google reviews.
We are growing fast, so we need help in our insurance department. We are looking for someone that can work efficiently in a fast paced environment. You must love people, teamwork, knowledgeable of dental insurance, not be afraid of the telephone and asking for payments.
Requirements:
- Graduated from high school.
- You are comfortable answering phone calls and making calls in order to fill schedule.
- You learn quickly on a computer and are capable of managing different software systems.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to multitask.
- 2 years of experience with schedule coordinating and designing and Eaglesoft.

Who you’d be working with:
Dymond: She is our dynamic dental assistant who started 2 years ago and will stay forever. She is always positive, making patients stay at ease.
Rachel: Our office manager has a positive mind all the time. She listen and understands each individual in order to create a balanced atmosphere.
Katherine: She is one of our dental hygienists who started working as a dental assistant. Great educator that all our patients love!
You will also cross paths with Neda and Rebecca our experienced hygienists, Dr. Hosaka and Shenica and Karen our dental assistants.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Assist with insurance verification.
- Collect and process payments from patients
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns

Competitive Compensation:
We offer $25.00-28.00 an hour according to experience. On top of our hourly rate, we also offer an incentive program that you will be eligible for after your first 90 days with us.
Work hours:
You will be working: Mondays & Fridays: 7:30am-4:30pm and one (1) Saturday a month: 7:30am-1:30pm

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
