We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and administrative support to our dental office. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
- Collect and process patient payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or dental practice is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance coverage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
