We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our family owned dental office. We pride ourselves on quality over quantity. This is not a PPO driven practice. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the dental office. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a dental or medical office setting, possess excellent communication skills, and be knowledgeable in dental terminology and procedures.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patients
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
-Present treatment plans to patients.
-Be willing and open minded to learn new skills.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a dental or medical office
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance protocols
- Proficiency in using dental software (e.g., Softdent) for scheduling, billing, and record keeping
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
-Hours are M-TH 8-5 with occasional Friday mornings.
