Dental Office Treatment Plan Coordinator

Glendale's best Pediatric Dental Office is looking for a new team member.  This position is for Treatment Plan Coordinator/Check-Out.  Must have dental experience; including knowledge of insurance (PPO's and AHCCCS).  

The Treatment Plan Coordinator is responsible for tasks including, but not limited to conducting patient consultations during exam appointments; calculating fees for treatment; coordinating patient financial arrangements.  The Treatment Plan Coordinator will also assist with general front office duties.

Dental Treatment Coordinator Qualifications

• Motived, bubbly and energetic team player
• Empathetic toward patient's needs
• Excellent communication skills 
• Knowledge and use of dental terminology required
• Knowledge of insurance breakdowns; both PPO and AHCCCS (Medicaid)

Dental Treatment Coordinator Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct patient treatment/financial consultations
• Calculate fees for treatment based on various fee schedules
• Assist patients with financing options, insurance questions, and treatment concerns while maximizing insurance benefits
• Collect patient payments
• Answer telephones and schedule appointments 
• Assisting with Check-in/Check-out when needed
• Run end of day reports to verify that all daily duties have been completed.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and team huddles
• Comply with Federal and State legislation retaining to all billing-related matters
• Comply with all Safety, Emergency, Hazard, OSHA, HIPAA, Sterilization, Clinical, Quality Assurance, and Administrative Plans, Policies, Guidelines, Protocol, and Standards 
• Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager and/or Owner. 

Dental Treatment Coordinator Experience

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Treatment Coordinator is required.
• Knowledge of Dentrix Software required.
