- Process dental insurance claims and billing statements
- Verify and update patient insurance information
- Review and reconcile patient accounts
- Assist with financial arrangements and payment plans
- Maintain accurate records of dental procedures and treatments
- Collaborate with dental providers to ensure accurate coding and billing practices
- Handle patient inquiries regarding insurance coverage and billing issues
- Follow up on unpaid claims and delinquent accounts
```Skills```
- Proficient in using dental office software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding for dental procedures
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing and recordkeeping
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and dental providers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
