Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Biller to join
our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental billing
procedures, insurance processing, and excellent communication skills. This role will
involve handling billing inquiries, processing insurance claims, and ensuring timely
reimbursement for services rendered.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing patient accounts and accurately preparing and submitting claims to
insurance companies.
- Following up on unpaid or rejected claims and resolving any discrepancies or
issues.
- Communicating with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing inquiries
and disputes.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of dental coding and billing regulations.
- Assisting with other administrative tasks and duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Dental Biller or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of dental coding and billing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of PPO, HMO and Dentical insurance processing and claims
submission guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Open Dental practice management software
