Description
Apple Valley Dental & Braces is hiring Dental Assistants.

• Must be able to travel to all three locations as needed.
• Willing to obtain Dental registration & CPR / First Aid training
Work hours depending on location vary from 6:45 am to 6pm Monday thru Friday
Previous dental assisting training not required, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Wage negotiable depending on experience for experienced Dental Assistants.
AVDB Dental Assistant duties:
• Greet our patients and ensure they are comfortable and cared for
• Prepare patients and the work area for treatments and procedures
• Sterilize dental instruments
• Assist dentists during procedures
• Instruct patients in proper oral hygiene
• Keep records of dental treatments

Position Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Possess compassion and high level of service for our patients, parents and staff.
• Ability to function in a calm, efficient manner and exercise careful and appropriate judgment when interacting with patients and parents.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a cooperative and tactful manner.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous computer skills and basic office skills.
• Display a professional manner and appearance at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

• Washington State Dental Assistant Registration (willing to obtain)
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification (Willing to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a dental field.
• Working knowledge of dental terminology and practices.
