SalaryWarehouse Worker / Shift Lead Needed IMMEDIATELY – DAY SHIFT - Maspeth, Queens NY
Monday- Thursday 630am - 530pm, Fridays 630am - 1pm
Salary ranging between $20-27/hr., plus fantastic benefits (including but not limited to medical, dental, PTO, paid holidays and more)
This is for a High-end Kosher food producer and distributor – tremendous growth in the past few years and expecting even more in 2024. Been around for 80 years, with more than 400 employees, currently.
The Warehouse Shift Lead will be directly responsible to assist the manager to supervise and perform all functions associated with inventory maintenance and picking items according to order tickets. You will perform a variety of functions to check, receive, and verify accuracy of part locations and quantities; as well as counting parts and filling orders, you will conduct first line, basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects.
Forklift/pallet jack knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Job Duties/Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited to:
Assist with pulling material for technicians when necessary
Safely perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Operates handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
Keep an neat and orderly work area and contribute to the all around neatness of the warehouse.

Possess your GED, High School diploma or equivalent
