```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient, sterilizing instruments, and passing instruments during procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment and instruments
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Perform office management tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and diagnosis
- Familiarity with dental software Dentrix
- Proficiency in infection control protocols and practices
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record medical history
