As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position would support our Craniofacial providers.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant to support our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients. This role involves assisting with clinical tasks, administrative duties, and ensuring a smooth workflow within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff.
- Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests and taking medical histories.
- Schedule appointments, maintain medical records, and perform clerical duties to ensure efficient operation of the healthcare facility.
- Educate and advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of all facilities, exam rooms, and equipment.
- Handle patient communication with empathy and professionalism, providing a supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and ethics preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and various computer software programs.
- CPR/BLS certification and Dental Assisting experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
