SalaryHelping our young patients learn to love the dentist, we hire the very best! Our Pediatric Dental team needs a skilled, motivated, happy DENTAL ASSISTANT. Normal office hours are M-W 7:30am-4pm and alternating Thursdays 7:30am-12:30pm.
Assistants in our office lead patients through the entire dental experience--reviewing health histories, providing oral hygiene instruction and prophy, exposing radiographs, recording treatment plans, assisting in treatment, and reviewing post-op instructions. In addition, assistants manage instrument and operatory disinfection and sterilization and basic office upkeep. Our assistants are a major reason for our success, and we aim to provide an office environment they can enjoy.
Preferred experience includes 1 year of chair side assisting and radiograph technique. Applicants must have a patient, happy approach with children, and must be willing to teach on a child's level. Radiology certification and experience with Dentrix (or similar software) are preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
