Daycare Director

Here at Little Wise Owls we are looking for a passionate Daycare Director who will oversee the daily operations of our daycare center. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate programs for children, managing staff, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the daycare center
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children in the center
• Manage and lead a team of daycare staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Ensure that the center is in compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements
• Create and maintain a positive and nurturing environment for children in the center
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any issues that may arise
• Manage the center's budget and finances, including billing and invoicing
• Collaborate with community organizations and other stakeholders to promote the center and its services
• Stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education and implement them in the center

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in early childhood education
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of state regulations and licensing requirements
• Experience in managing staff and creating schedules
• Passionate about providing quality care and education for young children
• Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with parents and families
• Experience in budgeting and financial management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
