Beanstalk is hiring an experienced director who loves working with children and is dedicated to helping them to succeed. The director should have a natural tendency to lead, allowing them to oversee all facility operations and delegate tasks among staff members.

Requirements for the position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or Degree in a Related Field
• Documented experience with young children
• Experience in Daycare administration and personnel supervision
• Enthusiastic, motivated, able to multi-task and possesses strong leadership skills.
• Knowledge of DHS, OCDEL and Keystone Stars Certification Requirements
• Experience in all aspects of running a child care center.
• Knowledge of PHL PreK programs and Creative Curriculum
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Shows initiative

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Staff Scheduling
• Oversee tours and inquiries
• Problem Solving
• Effectively Communicating with Parents and Staff
• Assist with mealtime routines and promote healthy eating habits
• Provide guidance and support in behavior management
• Schedule Staff Trainings in accordance with Keystone Stars and PhillyPreK requirements
• Supervise, assess and evaluate employees
• Respond to parent and employee concerns in a timely manner
