Assistant Daycare Director

General Duties:
-Planning long and short-range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practices, and program philosophy. Special activities, like parties for holidays and summer, should be fun, creative, and educationally stimulating.
-Keeping each child's record current, proof-reading child evaluations, updating client paperwork, taking daily kid and staff attendance, scheduling staffing, updating sign-in and pay sheets, writing monthly newsletters, holding staff meetings, processing Child Care Consultants, reviewing the emergency plan, completing staff evaluations, maintaining current staff clearances/physicals/trainings, and keeping all state regulated documents current.
-Giving tours of facilities, signing up clients, processing paperwork
-Processing payments, maintaining confidentiality
-Flexibility to work in any situation/role with children

Qualifications:
-Degree in either Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Human Development and Family Studies
-Prior experience as an Assistant Daycare Director

State Clearances to Work with Children:

• FBI fingerprinting
• Child abuse
• National sex offender registry
• State police
• Physical with TB test

Pay: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour
