We are seeking one highly energetic individual for immediate hire to join our FAST paced team! We are a home based childcare facility. We care for infants up to age 10. We have a fun filled curriculum we teach to our preschool kids. We are passionate about the kids we provide care for and pride ourselves on excellence! As a team member you will be trusted with a wide range of tasks that will be essential to the smooth running of our facility as well as to the educational development of the children in our care. You will make a difference in the lives of the children daily! You will always be looking for ways to spark their imaginations and curiosity about the world around them, and be a part of building their confidence. We love to be creative and have fun!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be available between the hours of 7 am and 5:30 pm as schedules do slightly rotate.
• MUST KNOW how to swim as we have a gated pool on the premise.
• Must be able to clear a background check as required by law and complete a negativeTB test if haven’t had one in the last 2 months.
• Part time (under 30 hours) Full time (over 30 hours)
• Must have a passion for children!
• NO experience necessary for starting levels. Some experience required for our teaching position and Asst. Manager position, however we do train on site.

Position Summaries:

Daycare Assistant: (Minimum wage + depending on experience) Assists in the daily management and supervision of Children enrolled. Responsibilities include: Anything having to do with the day to day care of the children enrolled. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: Changing diapers, potty training, Fixing and serving meals, clean-up, assisting with pre-school curriculum and other activities, supervising children, infant care, leading activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment, making sure that all safety rules are being followed, being involved with play time. The Daycare Assistant will answer to and follow the direction of the Lead, Instructor, Assistant Director, and Director.

Daycare Instructor/teacher: (Starting at $18/hour + depending on experience) Would include all of the above responsibilities at a complete level of independence. Other responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Plan and implement curriculum in a way that is fun and interesting, ensures that children are being handled and spoken to in a way that is loving and appropriate, identify and implement additional activities that are age appropriate, handles difficult situations with children, ensures all health and safety standards are met, ensures that all licensing standards are met, takes a lead role in appropriately guiding children and following the time schedule of activities for the day. The Instructor is responsible for guiding the assistant in leading appropriate activities for the children, and what is needed to be done.

Daycare Center Assistant Director: (Starting at $20/hour + depending on experience) Would include all of the above responsibilities at a level that is completely independent. The Assistant Director will have the complete trust of the Director and parents that every effort has been taken to follow ALL guidelines set forth for the routine operations of this childcare facility, and that appropriate measures are taken immediately when any situation may sway from what has been outlined. The Assistant Director will assist the Director in overseeing over-all quality control, and parent relations. When the Director is off premises, the Assistant Director is fully responsible for all happenings at the facility. This would include the safety and management of the children, thus avoiding injuries and conflict, and over-all well being of the facility structures and its belongings. Assistant Director is responsible for guiding the assistant in leading appropriate activities for the children, and in what is needed to be done. Additional responsibilities include necessary paperwork and planning.
