The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the Life Enrichment programming for the Senior Day Program in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guideline and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Senior Day Program Director to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interest and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each participant.
QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum educational requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent recognized by a state of the United States as the equivalent of a high-school diploma and:
(i) a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and one year of full-time experience working with elderly people or people with disabilities in a human service or medically related program;
(ii) 60 semester hours from an accredited college or university, and two years of full-time experience working with elderly people or people with disabilities in a human service or medically related program; or
(iii) completed an activities director's course (MEPAP 1 & 2), and two years of full-time experience working with elderly people or people with disabilities in a human service or medically related program.
Must have current CPR certification.
