About the Position:
As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the meticulous collection and entry of data into the agency's internal relational database. This pivotal role is instrumental in guaranteeing that all data received from the various Southern California Campuses is comprehensible and precise and that it is entered into the system promptly and efficiently. Your role involves close collaboration with Campus leads to ensure the information is handled effectively and accurately. One of your essential functions is to provide weekly lists of students to the campus faculty, facilitating their follow-up processes. This step aids in the timely identification and resolution of any issues or concerns related to the data, fostering a proactive approach to maintaining data quality and integrity. Your attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and seamless interaction with campus personnel are vital to this position.
Salary Range: $21.63/hr – $22.60/hr
What You Will Do:
- Accurate and timely entry of CPI assessment data.
- Adhere to policies and procedures that ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of all data maintained and entered in Apricot.
- Verify assessments are completed accurately.
- Maintain a daily and weekly tracker of all assessments completed, pending completion, and upcoming assessments for each student in our campuses.
- Perform general clerical tasks such as scanning, photocopying, and filing, where applicable.
- May review data charts monthly and update or train others on how to update as needed.
- Support Data Manager with Extraction and clean-up of datasets from external systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
- Required: 1-3 years experience in data processing or administrative work.
- Proven track record of Excel use in a school or work setting.
- Understanding of data governance principles, data security, and compliance regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willing to be trained on software used across the agency.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to evolving data technologies and industry best practices.
