JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering data (from faxes, emails, and handwritten requisitions, forms etc.) accurately and efficiently into internal systems. This role will function across multiple departments.
Essential Functions
· Enter patient demographics, healthcare provider, insurance information and other information into internal systems according to standard operating procedures
· Receive and process faxes and emails according to standard operating procedures
· Assist in day-to-day operations within the department, including assist team members as needed
· Perform other duties, as assigned

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, facsimile and phones.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
