Triage all incoming faxes and workload via Microsoft Outlook to ensure all patient assistance and verification requests are entered into the database and distributed appropriately
ProcessPatient Assistance Applications and communicate results to healthcare providers
Troubleshoot and resolve reimbursement related issues with Renassist team members and insurance companies
Maintain a proficient understanding of the Medicare Part D Benefit, Medicaid, and Commercial prescription drug plan benefits
Skills:Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor or Associate s Degree preferred.
Spreadsheet and database skills.
Proficient typing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding of health insurance benefits and reimbursement. Must be able to multitask and learn reimbursement related concepts quickly. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
Accuracy and Speed are the most important.
