Full-time legal administrative assistant. Hybrid/Remote work starting at $18/hour (higher depending on qualifications) with paid time off. Successful candidates will have strong technical and organization skills, as well as a strong work ethic.
The ideal candidate will ensure smooth running of case filings and case management. Legal work will primarily revolve around eviction filings and debt collection under the supervision of an attorney. This position will be remote with weekly onsite meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to lawyer
- Heavy Data Entry entailing drafting/filing initial notice of claims for evictions and collections matters
- Prepare and E-File pleadings as instructed with the appropriate courts
- Coordinate with the courts to calendar hearings
- Must be extremely efficient and able to manage high volume transactional work
- Proficient with excel and pdf tools (editing, modifying)
- Other administrative tasks, as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
