Clerical & Data Entry Clerk/Warehouse Associate
About us
We are a professional, fast-paced and customer-centric axle manufacturer looking for a Clerical & Data Entry Clerk/Warehouse Associate with experience in our Granger, IN warehouse.
Job Duties-
- Receive and process incoming axle customer orders into our software system
- Organize Pick tickets/packing slips for orders and shipment
- Coordinate with our warehouse team and drivers/3PL trucks on outbound deliveries
- Schedule and arrange inbound deliveries to our warehouse with delivery companies via email or phone
- Prepare paperwork for shipments, print BOL's/tags or labels, or POD's
- Perform inventory control when needed with the rest of team/warehouse team
- Communicate with customers on PO's/orders, questions, deliveries, etc.
- Always follow safety procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations
- Ensure that all safety and security policies are followed.
- Report all safety accidents and violations. Conduct operations in accordance with OSHA standards
- Ensure that inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage when needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent/college degree a plus
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Computer literate/emailing
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus (Quickbooks/Epicor)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Sit down forklift experience a plus
- Able to follow and take instructions/direction
- Multi-tasker

- Granger, IN: Reliably commute
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
