We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to type product information into our inventory software. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. You will report to the warehouse manager and work side-by-side with a warehouse assistant team member. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through the digital database.
Responsibilities
Type in data provided directly from products and warehouse assistant
Take pictures of products and create product labels
Verify data by comparing it to products
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
Sort and organize data and assign warehouse storage locations
Skills
Proven experience as Data Entry Clerk
Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
Basic understanding of databases
Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
Great attention to detail
High school degree or equivalent
Able to work 8am-5pm, M-F
Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work as part of a team
High attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory
Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
