Job Summary:
As a Data Intake Specialist at SMS, you will play a vital role in managing and organizing the company's incoming order information. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of data for various departments and projects. We will train you on the systems we use to share this data across the teams to ensure the timely processing of our order requests. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Reading electronic orders and entering data into privately shared spreadsheets and computer programs
Organize, categorize, and tag data according to established protocols and standards.
Sort data based on different identifiers.
Communicate as necessary across departments and to drivers in field.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
