Job Description
- Coordinate, facilitate and document the monthly agency-wide Case Record Review process.
- Collect and document additional Risk Management and Quality Assurance reports and findings to be used by the CQI Data Analyst and Director of CQI for reporting to leadership in informing continuous quality improvement activity decisions and activities.
- Assist the Director of CQI in gathering data relevant to the Agency’s Quality Improvement Plan and other quality improvement initiatives including satisfaction and audit surveys and service outcome measurement processes.
- Assist the Director of CQI with accreditation (and licensing as appropriate) preparation and implementation activities.
- Conduct quality assurance site visits for the purpose of data collection including but not limited to Facility and USDA reviews and report and document findings.
- Assist with internal program reviews and compliance audits as requested by Leadership and the Director of CQI.
- Assist with the Agency Health and Wellness committee activities including scheduling meetings, maintaining minutes, coordinating and organizing events and maintaining a record of related activities.
- Assist Director of CQI in updating and maintaining the electronic and hard copy versions of the Policy and Procedure manual.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities held reasonable for this position and at the discretion of the Director of CQI.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience participating in quality improvement activities for an agency or corporation preferred.
- Experience working with accreditation activities (COA, JCAHO or CARF,) preferred.
- Excellent organizational, written and communication skills required.
- Must have demonstrable computer skills in working with MS Office, Excel and Access Databases.
