Data Analytics Master Architect

The Impact You'll Make in this Role:
The Data Analytics Master Architect helps bring an overarching strategy to all the data flows and analytics modeling with detailed understanding of how it all works, but a clear diagram for simple explanation. This leader provides technology direction, guidance and definition of Data flow architecture across Data Analytics platforms and environments that effectively supports 3M Business Strategy. This Architecture position requires data design, data modeling and data governance experience. This role requires leadership and communication skills as well as a level of comfort working with both technical and non-technical teams.
As a(n) Data Analytics Master Architect you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact:
• Contribute to and create documentation related to architecture, design, planning, and
maintaining Analytics Ecosystem Application Roadmaps.
• Develop Analytics Application architecture to deploy functionality using a wide variety of deployment patterns On-Premises or in the Cloud.
• Analyze requirements, gather data, develop logical, physical data models and designs to deploy and maintain a wide range of Applications.
• Analyze data integration requirements and develop schemas in support of system integration.
• Work with IT and business stakeholders to ensure data models and designs support the
integration of data/information flow across systems and platforms.
• Harvest business rules and metadata from application silos
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 7 years of Information systems / Analytics application Consulting experience
OR
• High School Diploma/GED from AND 11 years of Information systems / Analytics application Consulting experience
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
• 4 years of translating business requirements into system requirements for current and future needs. Thorough knowledge of Data architecture, Schemas and Data Modelling techniques. Experience must include responsibility to document data flows for applications and business processes.
• 4 years of Application data flows pertaining to one or more of the following areas: ERP (Oracle / SAP), Salesforce, Pega.
• 4 years of directly working with structured, unstructured and semi-structured data to produce analytics modeling and outcomes.
• 7 years working with business and technical leaders to design, build and implement analytics solutions across a Business Intelligence Stack (Azure, Snowflake, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
• 2 or more years of assessing analytics software, selecting, contracting and implementing new software in a private, public, government or military environment
• 2 years with ML/AI modeling and software
• Skills include: application and data architecture; Data Governance, Oral and written communication with senior leadership and front-line developers

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $201,308 - $246,043, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
