About this role:
The Lead Analytic Consultant will focus on advanced analytics or Data Visualization to support high and inherent risk regulatory analytics tied to major compliance requirements for CEDA's Automated QA Review Program within the Strategy, Transformation, and Automated Controls (STAC) group. These individuals will support the development and implementation of various analytic products inclusive of:
  • New automated reviews that use system of record data to determine in whole or part the evidence of compliance for a target population of records so little to no manual review is required,
  • Operational reporting & Data Visualization
  • data sourcing/sampling/loading, automation of reports & analytic solutions, intelligent automation.

These individuals will be responsible for multiple activities that include consulting and partnering with senior level leaders, providing data-driven insights, visualizations, and developing analytical solutions to support a wide array of high priority business initiatives. The ability to capture and aggregate data and translate complex business rules and processes into actionable insights using data and advanced analytic thought is essential to this role.
In this role, you will:
  • Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Support the development and implementation of new automated reviews that use system of record data to determine in whole or part the evidence of compliance for a target population of records.
  • Identify and design analytic solutions to identify process gaps and anomalies using data to enable automation. Automation will reduce the complexity of the QC/QA process by integrating a data driven approach to provide our business partners the ability to perform their work as the efficiency and scale needed to optimize their operating models.
  • Develop control metrics and Data Visualizations related to automated solution execution.

In this role, you will:
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterprise.
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise.
  • Support the development and implementation of new automated reviews that use system of record data to determine in whole or part the evidence of compliance for a target population of records.
  • Identify and design analytic solutions to identify process gaps and anomalies using data to enable automation. Automation will reduce the complexity of the QC/QA process by integrating a data driven approach to provide our business partners the ability to perform their work as the efficiency and scale needed to optimize their operating models.

Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience coding with SQL & SAS.
  • Experience working with Data Visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Experience coding with Python.
  • Experience developing operational reporting, control metrics, dashboards, and Data Visualizations.
  • Understanding of enterprise contact center data, enterprise data lake, use case development with business and technology partners, data strategy background, experience, quality system of record and data stores for transactional business processes.
  • Experience working with large and complex data within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with process automation.

Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to work on site per Wells Fargo's standard operating model in one of the listed locations.
