Data Analyst (Intrepid)

JOB PURPOSE:

The Disaster Case Management Data Analyst plays an essential role within our Emergency Services department, focusing on managing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of data within the VisionLink system to support disaster response and recovery efforts.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee the data management within VisionLink, ensuring data integrity and quality.

· Generate insightful reports and analyses to inform strategic decision-making.

· Provide VisionLink training and support to end-users, creating helpful resources.

· Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Identify and implement system and process improvements for enhanced efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and organizational data security policies.

· Data Management and Integrity: Oversee the entry, maintenance, and integrity of data within the VisionLink system. Implement data quality controls to ensure accuracy and consistency across all records.

· Analysis and Reporting: Utilize VisionLink to generate reports, perform complex data analyses, and create dashboards that support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. Translate data findings into actionable insights for program improvement.

· System Training and Support: Serve as the VisionLink expert within the team, providing training and ongoing support to case managers and other users. Develop user guides, FAQs, and training materials to enhance system utilization.

· Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with case management teams to understand data needs, report on trends, and address any data-related challenges. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure data requirements are met.

· Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and data process optimizations. Collaborate with the VisionLink vendor and internal IT staff to implement system updates and improvements.

· Compliance and Security: Ensure data handling and storage practices comply with privacy laws and organizational policies. Maintain the security of sensitive client information within the VisionLink system.

· Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Analysis, Statistics, or related field.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years in a data management role, preferably with health data systems. Experience with VisionLink highly desirable.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver’s License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.

EXCEPTIONS TO THESE CRITERIA MUST BE APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT HEAD.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $31.00 per hour
