Job description
Somfy is seeking a talented Business Analyst. This position will work closely with various stakeholders including Controlling, Sales, Product, Marketing and Financial system team to build reports and provide analysis. The successful candidate will contribute to our Digital transformation projects that change how Somfy consumes, stores, and analyzes business data.
Duties & Responsibilities
Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business
Budgeting and forecasting
Planning and monitoring
Financial modelling
Variance Analysis
Pricing Management
Contribute to the change management digital initiatives
Partner with Business Finance teams to allocate operating expenses to appropriate businesses monthly and for planning cycles.
Partner with Accounting and Business Intelligence teams to define requirements for and prioritize projects to improve reporting accuracy and automation.
Supporting operations partners in areas that include, but are not limited to, accounting, planning, metrics and performance measurement, as well as operations cost allocation projects.
Ad hoc financial analysis and data support for business team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.
Demonstrated financial modeling and analysis skills
Experience with financial reporting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior working experience with SAP, Salesforce, Power BI.
Experience working cross functionally within a global company
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Process improvement experience
Highly analytical and detail oriented
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Customer focus and professional demeanor
Bachelor Degree or equivalent finance related work experience.
