Cybersecurity Technical Specialist
Location: Lisle, IL (Day 1 Onsite)
Position Overview
This position is part of the Subsystem Requirements team for the Controls and Software group responsible for software requirements, design, coding, testing, software integration and releases.
Requirements -
Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst (ISO 21434) or similar role – 5 to 7 years
Good understanding of Automotive Systems and Subsystems
Experience in Information Security or related field including Cloud, SW, HW, Mobile, Web Security
Experience in TARA, Threat Modeling, Attack Surface analysis and testing, Risk Assessment techniques
Experience with penetration testing and techniques, Red/Blue/Purple teams
Understanding of Security models, systems/processes, and tools/techniques like SIEM, SOAR, EDR and IDPS concepts
Good Awareness of ISO 21434, 27001,NHTSA, NMFTA, NIST, CIS and related standards
Exposure to SANS, MITRE, OWASP, SAFECode and related frameworks
Background in Audits/Assessments preferred
Engineering Degree in CSE/ECE/EEE or related areas
Job Role –
Create Cyber strategy/Resilience concept
Derive a Total Security concept incl. SOC if needed with Customer support
Create awareness on Cyber and train/educate users as needed
Create/ maintain Project Cyber, Cyber Case, CIA, TARA as needed
Derive Cyber requirements for Systems/SW/HW
Basic Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
· At least 12 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies
· At least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies
OR
· Master’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
· At least 8 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies
· At least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies
