AGCO is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated professional to join the Technical Services team as a Warranty & Service Specialist. The ideal candidate will educate our GSI dealer network in repairing, installing, maintenance, and operation of GSI equipment. This position will also involve manning the Contact Center, answering phone calls and sometimes making field visits to assist and teach our dealer network in servicing GSI equipment. The ideal candidate will participate in the development of training content and facilitating service training classes both in classroom and hands-on equipment, as well as support, maintain, construct & design Service Training simulators & equipment.
Your Impact
- Provide technical assistance to dealers and customers with diagnosing problems, operation of product, finding parts and or part numbers for any of the GSI Brand names
- Enter calls into Salesforce case management for future reference with product quality issues, product improvements and departmental usage
- Have above average product knowledge of all GSI product lines
- Present and teach in a classroom environment about GSI Branded products, as well as in a hands-on environment with simulation equipment, to mentor other Technical Support Representatives
- Assist Engineering, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Sales in their needs that will improve or correct issues of GSI Brand products
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred
- 5 years technical experience in agricultural field preferred
- Understanding of electric circuits, wiring schematics and drawings (Strong Mechanical aptitude, pneumatic & hydraulic experience preferred)
- Ability to train others on service, troubleshooting and operation of product lines (Knowledge of GSI product lines preferred)
- Above average negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Your Workplace
You will be working partially onsite at our Assumption, IL facility, and partially in the field assisting dealers and customers. This position will require up to 40% travel to various dealer, customer, and AGCO sites.
