SAIC is seeking a skilledCyber Exercise Planner(preferably Cyber, Info. Tech. or proven military related organizational planning) to join our team and play a pivotal role in resourcing, planning, preparing, and executing projects from initiation to completion. This is a 100% work from home position. The Planner will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to define exercise scope, objectives, and deliverables and develop a comprehensive project plan and schedule.

Job Duties:

• Lead and manage assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues and ensure project success.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to allocate resources, including manning, equipment, and training materials, to support exercise activities and achieve training objectives.
• Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including internal Project Manager and clients.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and operations/plans teams, to ensure alignment and integration of project activities.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Manage assigned project budgets, expenses, and procurement processes, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to optimize project delivery and enhance organizational efficiency.
• Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture insights, identify areas for improvement, and enhance future project outcomes.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree and two (2) years of experience; 4 more years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Required Security Clearance:

• Active Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

• Knowledge of Project management methodologies- Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.

Desired Skills:

• Proven experience in project management- preferably in cybersecurity, information technology, or military organizational planning.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks- Scrum, AGILE, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies is preferred.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software for project planning, scheduling, and tracking- Trello, Jira, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, etc.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to travel to foreign and domestic locations approximately 25% of the time to include travel for JELC events pertaining to assigned projects

Target salary range: $95,001 - $105,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
