Job description

LinQuest Corporation is hiring highly skilled and motivated candidates to join a high-performance team and provide support to the US Space Command (USSPACECOM) as a Joint Training/Exercise Planner.
An active TS/SCI clearance is MANDATORY.
As a Joint Training/Exercise Planner, you will support J3 with the planning and execution of USSPACECOM (Tier 1), Large Scale Global Exercise, Joint Staff Globally Integrated Exercises/Wargames, other CCMD Tier 1 exercises, and directed Wargames and tabletop exercises (TTXs).

  • Provide support and assistance to plan, develop, execute, and analyze joint exercises and wargames.
  • Planning is in accordance with Joint Publication 5-0 and the Joint Planning Process.
  • Support joint planning IAW Joint Publication 5-0 and Joint Operations IAW the Joint Publication 3-0 series.
  • Exercise execution may require travel and extended workdays up to 12-hour shifts and weekends for a duration of 5-14 consecutive days.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • JTIMS knowledge
  • 7+ years experience with education and training, exercises, and wargames
  • Previous experience on a CCMD, Field Command, Component, or HHQ staff highly desired
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher required; experience may substitute for the degree
  • Completion of JPME I is highly desired, and JPME II is preferred
  • Ability to use Microsoft products (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel)
  • Ability to be an effective team member
  • Ability to present briefings and coordinate problems and recommend solutions
  • Ability to identify and resolve challenges at a strategic level
  • Ability to brief/interactive with senior (GO/FLAG) level officer and senior civilians.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate plans between internal and external staff agencies to ensure a coherent effort
  • Current/relevant space/joint operations exercise, training, wargames and campaign planning/execution background/experience
  • US Citizenship and an active DoD Active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position

Compensation:
  • Starting salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
