Exercise andJoint Operations Center Operations Planner

As a Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) Exercise and Joint Operations Center (JOC) Operations Planner. You'll provide professional services and mission support as an Exercise and JOC Operations Planner to the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC), United States Army, Pacific (USARPAC). You will deliver continuous planning and coordination support throughout the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) events and serving in the JOC during the Brigade Combat Team (BCT) Live, Virtual, and Constructive exercise, including Allies and Partners from across the Indo-Pacific and Arctic.
As an Exercise Planner and JOC team member, you'll plan and execute combat training center (CTC) rotations as a Higher Control (HICON) team member. Your planning efforts will include the development of the JELC exercise products to include exercise orders and supporting staff products, synchronizing the various warfighting functions. During exercise execution, you'll serve on the team that replicates higher headquarters, enabling Operations Group (OPSGRP) to maintain clear situational awareness enabling the conditions for units to train to standard.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience at the Brigade level and below, including serving as a BN S3, BN XO, or Operations SGM
  • 2+ years of experience with planning, coordinating, and executing live, virtual, and constructive exercises at the Brigade level and below
  • 2+ years of experience with serving at a CTC
  • 2+ years of experience with working at a Division, Corps, Joint, or Multinational HQ
  • Experience with Army and Joint Doctrine and Training Policy
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • CGSC, ILE, MEL 4, or Battle Staff Course

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience as a Combat Training Center OC/T, LTP Coach, or Army Service School instructor
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
  • Master's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • School of Advanced Military Studies Graduate or SGM's Academy

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
