Customer Training Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Create schedules for training classes, courses and programs
- Track and create reports regarding all aspects of each event
- Develop and distribute training aids, such and handouts, handbooks, or manuals
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of Lowe’s Pro Customer Training program
- Work directly with training providers to confirm availability, schedule training services, coordinate materials as needed, communicate cancellations, invoice reconciliation, issue resolution, etc.
- Provide enrollees with all necessary items and direction prior to the start of the event
- Interface with customers and ensure all training inquiries are addressed in a timely manner
- Assist training sponsor (Strategic Accounts Manager, Branch Manager, etc.) in full cycle planning and execution of training events; maintain regular communications with all parties involved to ensure a positive experience consistent with Lowe’s Pro brand commitment
- Maintain detailed records of all training classes including curriculum dates, location, sponsor, trainer, class topic, attendees and invoices
- Administer surveys to gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
- Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on attendee’s skills and KPIs through collected survey data
- Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
- Maintain current knowledge on new training methods and techniques
- Assist in coordinating presentation design and layout
- Manage the Lowe’s Pro training calendar (internal and external) ensuring all planned training events are kept up-to-date and information is accurate
- Create and distribute marketing materials internally and externally
- Support the Training Manager in the development of reporting and metrics, other projects as assigned
- The Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Customer Training Manager and trainers for virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, and professional development classes
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
- Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
- Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
- Experience with e-learning platforms
- MS Office proficiency with a strong emphasis on MS PowerPoint, Excel and Teams
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Strong communication skills
