You will quickly become a key member of our team responsible for learning all aspects of the business. Our training process commences on day one working directly under and closely with the company’s general manager. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and thrives in a fast-moving environment, is focused on a rewarding career, and is eager to learn from successful and proven professionals.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Embrace a culture of learning to gain an understanding of all aspects of Purchase Green products, services, and processes to run a successful store
- Become knowledgeable on the artificial grass industry, products, and services
- Serve as a brand ambassador: educate and delight our customers by delivering a unique and incredible experience that continues beyond the store visit via phone calls, emails, etc.
- Become a product expert to assist customers in selecting the perfect turf and accessories that best suit their needs
- Grow, develop, and nurture our customer base through one-on-one interactions
- Maintain constant contact to convert leads into sales by following company procedures while keeping great records using our CRM (Hubspot)
- Become proficient in creating estimates, invoices, collecting payment, and other administrative tasks using QuickBooks
- Find prospective customers and new target segments
- Assist with inventory management and visual displays
- Processing orders, cutting turf, preparing orders, loading and unloading shipments
- Obtaining tow motor certification (company provided)
- Assist the manager with all business aspects and functions of the company

- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- A Friendly and pleasant demeanor with an eagerness to provide exemplary customer service
- Self-Driven and positive attitude
- Prior experience in artificial grass or the landscaping industry is a plus but not required
- Adaptable to a growing team
- Physical ability to lift and place heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Proficiency to navigate computer programs such as Microsoft Office including Outlook
- Experience with Quick books and/or Hubspot is a plus but not required
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and personality
