Sodexo is looking for an extroverted and enthusiastic Customer Support, Operations Representative for a very high-profile role within a corporate client environment in Rahway, New Jersey. The role of the Customer Support, Operations Representative offers white glove customer service at different postings around the client campus. We are seeking outgoing, positive and confident individuals who will assist our clients in face-to-face interactions, email and phone conversations. They provide prompt, courteous and customer-oriented services to employees, contractors and visitors to our client campus.In this role, you will make recommendations; offer suggestions; support with the execution of events; as well as fulfill varying in the moment-requests that exceed expectations for a frictionless workday. This position requires exemplary hospitality skills, knowledge of the local area, and availability to work a Monday to Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a support function to the Community Manager Team
- Offer a welcoming, hospitable feel in the workplace
- Be knowledgeable about buildings and the Merck Rahway site
- Give directions to site locations, parking lots/garages/etc.
- Be able and willing to answer any questions that may be presented
- Problem solve and create solutions for our clients
- Support communications and signage around the building
- Maintain workspaces to standard
- Work together as a team, communicate with one another
- Support site events
- Building Tours
- Overall tracking of interactions into Salesforce
- Support facilities requests/issues, enter work orders, communicate with Building
- Manager
- Project an approachable and professional image
- Promote meaningful relationships through engaging and informed conversation
- with clients
- Collaborate on new ideas and initiatives with team members and onsite manager
- Consistently provide best in class customer service in a fat paced, structured
- environment
- Maintain soft support workspaces across campus
- Assist Community Managers in high volume areas during peak times
- Be able to provide coverage in areas when needed
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
- At least 1 year of hospitality and/or customer service experience
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience basic functional experience
- General MS Office abilities/ knowledge including PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Active listening
- Desire for continuous learning
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks/priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Please Note: The salary range for this position is $48-52k annually
